A Century of Passion
The story of Buno Family Trading PLC is the story of Ethiopian coffee itself — woven into the soil of Guji and the hearts of three generations.
"It started with a single seedling..."
The story of Buno Family Trading PLC traces back to 1930 when Mr. Buno Aduula introduced coffee seedlings to the Guji highlands, helping coffee cultivation spread throughout the region.
Raised in coffee farming himself, Mr. Buno Aduula possessed deep knowledge of coffee varieties, suitable soil conditions, and climate requirements for producing exceptional coffee. Rather than keeping this knowledge private, he shared it with local communities, contributing significantly to the expansion of specialty coffee farming across the Guji area.
